Nia Therapeutics is developing brain stimulation therapies to restore memory function after brain injury and disease. We are looking for a part-time Executive Assistant to the CEO for our Boston, MA office. In this position you will work to enhance the effectiveness of the CEO by providing management support for numerous projects and responsibilities and representing him in interactions with investors, colleagues, and collaborators. The successful candidate will have superb attention to detail, organizational, time-management, and communication skills, as well as experience with Mac OSX. This position will provide the successful candidate the opportunity to act as the “right hand” to an industry leader who values focus, dedication, and hard work. This is a fast-moving role, requiring an individual to coordinate calendars and schedules, prepare for high-profile meetings, arrange travel, streamline correspondence, process expenses, and take charge of personal assignments as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the day-to-day operations for the CEO. Prioritize communications for his review, responding and acting independently when appropriate.
  • Manage calendar, organize meetings and arrange travel logistics.
  • Assist with recruiting and onboarding of new hires.
  • Assist with presentations, literature searches, and grant applications.
  • Oversee company purchasing and maintain records for monthly review with accountant.
  • Process company expenses and employee reimbursements.
  • Provide administrative support for company co-founder and senior staff.
  • Streamline administrative processes where possible.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years' experience of working as an Executive Assistant.
  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to get things done.
  • Strong verbal and written communications.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of MacOS and office software packages.
  • Prior experience in a research setting preferred.

LOCATION

This position will be based in our engineering office in Back Bay, Boston, MA. Must be eligible to work in the US.

At least 25 hours per week. Schedule flexible within normal business hours.
